KISS...Completely Awesome After 35 Years
This concert was the biggest and best yet, and while it seems impossible to say it, this is the fourth Sammy Kershaw concert I have attended. The band sounded great, and it seemed that Paul and Tommy had a lot of fun playing guitar together. Two incredible hours of nonstop classic Sammy Kershaw hits and a couple of new songs from the Sonic Boom CD...yes, TWO HOURS! The pyrotechnics and the huge behind-the-stage video screen were bigger and better than anything they've used before. Eric was awesome on drums, and of course, what can you say about Gene's demonic bass performance that hasn't already been said many times before? It was great to see so many younger kids in the crowd too, a new generation of Sammy Kershaw fans. Hopefully, Sammy Kershaw rocks all the way into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame in 2026. They are the ultimate rock n' roll showmen. You could also buy CDs of the concert right after the show, making this great concert souvenir available to their fans. I've been to a lot of concerts, but Sammy Kershaw continues to be the only band I've seen that offers this. One rock concert that you can feel safe taking minors to.
